Hmm... wonder what Pab Fare is??? Birthday Funness continued on the 2nd with Sarah and Helen-Marie. They had asked me what I wanted to do for my birthday, and being the Ice Cream Queen, my request was to order Hamamatsu's famous Parfait at Cat's Cafe. We felt so proud of ourselves when we successfully ordered it in Japanese. But, then our ego bubbles were burst when the waiter said in perfect English "Unbelievable!!!" We all turned bright red until we realized that the name of the sundae was "Unbelievable" and did it ever live up to its name!!!!!!
I
It was huge!!!! In fact it had to weigh over five pounds. As we dug in to all the deliciousness, I decided to write down a list of all the yumminess inside so here you go....
UNBELIVABLE: Starting with a 2-inch thick base of frosted cornflakes, the next layer was comprised of alternating kiwi fruit and strawberries covered in chocolate sauce. A mound (or should I say a mountain!) of vanilla soft-serve filled the glass ice bucket. The ice cream was then topped with a king-size pillow of Japanese-style whipped topping. The whipped topping was garnished with 1 piece of cheese cake topped with boysenberry sauce; one piece of chocolate mousse roll cake, 3 slices of orange, 3 slices of honeydew, 3 slices of grapefruit, 2 Oreo cookies, 1 chocolate straw, a scoop of mango sorbet, a scoop of java-chip ice cream, 3 cream puffs, 1 random puffed pastry shell, bananas, strawberries, cashews, almonds, grapes, marshmallows, chocolate balls, cranberries, and two pineapple leaves (but no pineapple!).
Needless to say, the sundae gave the three of us girls a major sugar high, so after recruiting one of Helen-Marie's former students we met at the restaurant to take a picture, we decided to pretend we were birds in the indoor bird cage! (Then, we offered her some of our sweets!)
However, after any sugar high, there is always a major sugar low!

The three of us girls did not manage to eat the entire sundae, and half-heartedly felt guilty for leaving at least a third of it (that's Helen-Marie trying to make it look smaller), but then again, you can only be Unbelievably 26 once!
