So, long story short, I met a harp teacher from Tokyo who comes to Hamamatsu once a month to teach lessons. She asked if I would be interested in playing duets with her, which of course I jumped at the opportunity. Last month, we had our first duet session at a mutual friend's place. This month it was at my apartment. With some strategic furniture maneuvering (and even stuffing some in the shower) we were able to fit both harps. And because of an approaching typhoon, it seemed to safest to keep Harp #2 here overnight. So last night was a harp sleepover!

And You Thought One Harp Couldn't Fit in My Apartment...
Meet Maigen's new harp friend...
